Stranger at the airport...

So I recently went to NOLA for my best friends bachlorette party and I was a little scared when I realized I had to go to the airport alone and wait their for a few hours. I know it sound childish but I haven't travelled alone since I was a child and I don't like stragners. In fact, strangers scare me more than anything. Why are they talking to ME, where do they come from, where are they going, what are their intention...

So I'm reading my book and this older gentlemen sits down about 5 seats away. I got curious about all the pictures taken during the eventful bach party and this man says "So you got a Nikon, do you like it?" Awwwww stranger danger...haha. After about an hour this man and I talked about all kinds of pictures, he showed me some of his - his wife had paid for him to take a class, how do I become her daughter ;) - and I showed my blog (which doesn't have half as many good pictures as I'd like - my hobby ones).

So in this time he taught me about depth of field and how to do it better and use my camera more effectively, which I have to say has done wonders I think. I've even ventured out to do manual focusing now instead of automatic all the time.

So Mr Airport Stranger, these are for you... (ps I have not touched these with my editing program - it's all camera) Thank you for stepping into my private bubble and forcing me to go out of my comfort zone and taking the time out of your day to teach me something sooo valuable for my hobby and future career! :)
